Lip Balm

More than just a lip balm

Uses

Lips

The ratio of beeswax to oils makes this balm slightly firmer so that with every application you get the right coverage and protection for lips.

Temples

The blend of lavender and peppermint in this balm makes it a natural remedy to soothe a headache.

Skin

Plantain, the active ingredient in this balm, has anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties making it an excellent remedy on minor cuts, scrapes, burns, or bug bites.

Ingredients

Plantain-infused Organic Olive Oil

Plantain, the herb not the banana-looking fruit, is the most common weed in the word and it likely grows in your own backyard. It is antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiinflammaroy, making it one of nature’s best first aid remedies. When infused in oil, the oil takes on these same properties.

Beeswax

Beeswax protects your lips and skin by locking in moisture while still allowing it to breathe the same time. It has soothing and moisturizing qualities and is a natural humectant which means that it attracts moisture to places where it is used.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer. It has natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which adds an extra layer of protection for your lips and skin to heal.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are some of nature’s finest medicine. Each oil is steam distilled, capturing the essence of each plant. All essential oils are antibacterial and are used in low doses because a little goes a long way.

  • Peppermint: stimulates circulatory system, attracting blood flow to tight muscles or a tension headache (on the back of neck or temples)
  • Lavender: a plant that pretty much does it all. For the purposes of this balm, it adds comforting aromatherapy that promotes calm and relaxation.
